Vero Beach Little League Softball is dedicated to teaching girls ages 4–12 a lifelong love for the game. Our program focuses on building strong fundamentals, encouraging teamwork, and creating a fun and supportive environment where players can grow both on and off the field.

League Age is set by Little League International and league age is determined for the season based on the player's age as of January 1, 2026. This means the age a player is on January 1, 2026 will be their official league age for the Spring and Fall 2026 seasons regardless of any birthdays that occur later in the year.

Our Rookies division introduces young players to the foundations of softball. Through engaging drills and game-based learning, girls develop essential skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, and base running. This level emphasizes fun, confidence building, and learning the basics of teamwork.

The Minors Coach/Machine Pitch Division serves as an introductory level where players begin learning positional play and developing a foundational understanding of the game. In this division, athletes are introduced to Minors-level rules and game structure, helping them transition toward more competitive play. Players will learn key concepts such as recording outs, batting in a structured order, and playing assigned positions. The goal of the Minors - Coach/Machine Pitch Division is to build skill, confidence, and game awareness, preparing athletes for the increased competitiveness and expectations of the Minors - Player Pitch division.

The Minors division takes players deeper into the game as they transition to player-pitch softball. Athletes continue to strengthen their fundamentals while learning game strategy and developing greater consistency in their skills. Competition becomes more exciting, and players begin to experience faster-paced play in a supportive environment.

Our Majors division elevates the level of play as athletes refine their abilities and prepare for the next stage of their softball journey. Players face stronger competition, advanced strategy, and faster game dynamics - all while continuing to build leadership, sportsmanship, and a passion for the sport.
